Team Work - putting the Fun in Functional

Team Work - putting the Fun in Functional

Some of our nation's most effective and inspiring Capstone programs have emerged from the the creative and collaborative work facilitated by the National Summit. Together we support established and emerging capstone programs at any stage in development and growth.

The 3.5-day Capstone Summit workshop provides participants with an in-depth, collaborative engagement with creating or developing authentic and personalized learning through capstone projects. Participants will learn how capstone projects can be used to foster students as agents of their own learning.

Participants have the opportunity to:

  • learn from and share with established and emerging capstone programs from a diverse array of independent and public schools

  • review and work with NatCapCon's shared capstone curriculum, assessment, instruction, and planning materials

  • attend conversations on a variety of topics related to implementing capstone projects in schools, and

  • network with dynamic, diverse, and like-minded educators

Your all-inclusive fee for the NatCapCon Summer Summit includes the workshop, materials, and breakfast/lunch/dinner on all three and half days of the Summit. Limited spots are available.

We look forward to the National Summit as an opportunity to gather remarkable educators together to share the very best thinking, resources, methods and practices on authentic and personalized learning.  As a truly national consortium, this year's shift to the east coast fulfills our vision to be tri-coastal - East Coast, West Coast and Mid-Coast!
