Coaching

Our Capstone Coaching Program is for educators looking to up their capstone game. It is designed to meet professionals where they are in their career, helping them attain the next level of performance in capstone education. This program is open to any person currently — or soon to be — involved in a capstone course.

This program consists of both individual and group meetings. During individual, one hour sessions, participants will set professional goals and work with a coach from the National Capstone Consortium to attain their objectives. Participants will also join group sessions, lasting one hour, focused on capstone best practices from Capstone: Inquiry & Action at School (included in registration). The program will last for four months, providing four individual and four group sessions all together (eight meetings and eight hours in total).

All meetings will take place online via Google Meet. Individual events will be scheduled at the convenience of each participant. Group meetings will generally occur on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm Eastern Time Zone and an alternate time will be available for people in western locations also on Wednesdays (time to be determined by participant input).

The program is organized with a custom Google Site, containing introductory information, meeting resources, and a calendar. Participants will retain ownwership of program files after completion of the program.

For the inaugural program year, a cap of six people will be accepted. The full cost of $800 per person will be offered at a special introductory rate of $500. Scholarships are available — contact jon@capstoneconsortium.com for more information.
