An open collaborative of educators

Who Should Attend

Who Should Attend the NatCapCon Summer Summit?

Teachers, Librarians, and Instructional leaders who are passionate about providing their students with authentic and personalized learning opportunities. Classroom teachers who want to share and learn  with a collaborative of dynamic educators represented by a diverse range of schools - public and independent, large and small, day and boarding - from across the country. The capstone programs  represented at the Summit are similarly diverse, which yields a rich pool of experiences and perspectives.

Building and District (principals, directors, coordinators, superintendents)  leaders who are looking to develop and implement student-centered solutions, that integrate SEL and UDL elements with standards-based programming, and want to learn from the remarkable network of distinguished educational thought leaders active in the National Capstone Consortium.

The NatCapCon Summer Summit is for individuals and teams from schools who  believe that long-term authentic and personalized academic action (passion) research projects culminating in  formal community presentations have the potential to be transformative educational tools. Active participants of the Capstone Consortium want to network with educational leaders from like-minded schools to examine, improve, and expand the reach of this kind of education.
